Ajay Devgn, who starts shooting for his directorial venture Shivaay up North next month, has reportedly chosen Abigail Eames, a 12year-old, to play his daughter Gaura in the film. The cute little girl has her own fan following because of the Hollywood movies and English television serials that she has done.

Abigail was seen in TV movies like Lawless (2013) and Harry & Paul’s Story of 2s (2014) and the action-thriller Alleycats (2015). Her performance as Maebh Arden, the ‘standard defenceless little girl’, in the English tele-series Doctor Who has won her accolades.

A source said, “Ajay is directing and acting in Shivaay. He is obviously keen that his supporting cast comprises good actors. The little girl has to be an accomplished actor because she has a key role and it is a performance-based one.’’
