Ranbir Kapoor, Varun Dhawan and now, Arjun Kapoor have been seen using a part skateboard-part Segway device (see box) called the IO Hawk.

The latest B-Town toy in play is an expensive one, retailing in the US at Rs 1.16 lakh ($1,799). Arjun bought the gizmos for his sister Anshula and cousins Mohit Marwah and Sonam Kapoor, while returning from a trip to Dubai, where he picked it up for Rs 88,242 (5,000 UAE dirhams).

Says our source, “Price is no object for Arjun, who implusively gifts people he loves, without thinking of the cost. That’s why people around Arjun often joke that he shouldn’t be given a credit card as he purchases things on a whim.”

Adds the source, “Arjun used the device during a recent shoot and it kept him entertained throughout. He thought it would be a cool gift to give Mohit on his birthday last month. The younger actor is thrilled to bits and is often seen using it.”
