Once more, by his own admission, Shahid Kapoor is in a happy zone. His award journey that began with Vishal Bhardwaj's Haider, which released last October, saw him hit several high notes through this year. His latest film Shaandaar with Alia Bhatt has just opened. He is also excited about his next release - Abhishek Chaubey's Udta Punjab. In late November, he will join the schedule of Vishal Bhardwaj's Rangoon, which is produced by filmmaker Sajid Nadiadwala. It features Shahid with Saif Ali Khan and Kangana Ranaut in lead roles. From gathering immense love, appreciation and critical acclaim for his phenomenal performances to pulling off different looks in his various films, the actor, who is a major draw with a young demographic, has lots in store now.

Shahid, who was missing from the star endorsement brigade, has also been signed up by a global electronics major that earlier had Aamir Khan as its brand ambassador. “I'm very happy to be a part of this association considering the fact that Aamir endorsed this product before me. It is prestigious and I'm excited because I haven't been doing any commercials for a while now. I'm happy to start this journey again.“
