After monkeying around in Tope, Chandan Roy Sanyal plays a politician in an untitled project, set in Uttar Pradesh. “My character's intended elopes with her lover. An interesting cat-and-mouse chase follows,“ says Chandan, who began shooting on October 22 in Benares. “Aalim Hakim has styled my hair,“ he says, clarifying that his character or the look isn't inspired by any real-life politician in particular. He also reveals that he has been watching Bhojpuri films to understand his character better. “It's a month-long schedule. We'll hopefully head to Nepal next month to shoot for the climax,“ he signs off.
