Anu Malik's nephew Amaal Malik is gung ho about his first solo project as a com poser with Neeraj Pandey's biopic, M S Dhoni - The Untold Story. He has scored all six songs. There's talk of a seventh, but that's still under discussion.

Buzz is, the Sushant Singh Rajput-starrer was initially offered to AR Rahman, who couldn't do it owing to his busy schedule. Amaal was brought on board after much deliberation.

“Three of the songs are romantic numbers which will highlight key moments of Dhoni's relationship with wife Saakshi, from the time they first meet to post marriage,“ revealed a source close to the production. “None of them are club or party numbers.“

Mirror had reported (October 8) that Sushant and his leading lady Kiara Advani were spotted earlier this month in Aurangabad, shooting one of the romantic songs before Dhoni and Sakshi tied the knot in 2010.

Interestingly, the songs in the Dhoni biopic won't have the characters lip-syncing to them, but will play in the background. “Neeraj wanted the score to complement the cricketer's image,“ adds the source.

Amaal has previously composed two singles “Zindagi Aa Raha Hoon Main“ and “Chal Wahan Jaate Hain“, featuring Tiger Shroff. He also composed the title track for the Hero remake.
