Trust Salman Khan to do the unexpected. Rather than have the usual ‘trial’(filmy parlance for a private screening), Salman arranged the first ever full-fledged screening of Hero on Tuesday at his farmhouse in Panvel.

Says a source, “Salman wanted the first screening of Hero to be a warm, family affair. All his closest friends, including lead pair Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty and their parents, were invited. Everybody drove down to Salman’s farm to watch the film.”

For the two debutants’ parents, it was an extremely emotional moment as they were watching the complete film for the first time.

Meals were served and some guests decided to stay overnight.
