Known for delivering a string of blockbusters like Singham, Singham Returns, Chennai Express and the Golmaal series, director Rohit Shetty has been equally popular on the small screen as the host of Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi (KKK) for the past two years. Given his passion and expertise in the stunts department, the director was an ideal pick to anchor the adventure reality show.

However, one hears after hosting two successful seasons, the filmmaker won't return to present the seventh season of the show, owing to his prior film commitments. Sources revealed, “Rohit is busy shooting with Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, Varun Dhawan, Kriti Sanon and other actors for his December 18 release Dilwale. He won't be able to take on any other assignment because he has a release deadline to meet. KKK required his dates from November and this is not feasible for him. Thus, he had no choice but to give the reality show a miss.“
