Mandira Bedi is upset that she will not feature in the second season of 24 as it has taken a time leap and fast forwarded to season three of the original show. “So there is no role of my character,“ sighs the actor who was seen as a RAW agent in the Indian adaptation of the American show, along with Bollywood actor Anil Kapoor. “I do feel bad, I loved playing that character. I don't think anything else that I have done on TV, except Shanti, matches up with that role.“

The new season will have a host of new faces and Mandira has moved on, asserting that there's a lot of “lovely work“ coming her way. “I have been offered a really nice fiction show but I don't know if I have time for it. It starts in November. It's nice that I am actually saying 'no', but it's also not nice that I'm saying `no' to work that I want to do. That's unfortunate.“ However, the actress is a part of Zee TV's reality show, I Can Do That, which challenges the contestants to get out of their comfort zone. “Magic was my first challenge. We learn new skills in the show,“ she exults.
