Imran Khan is all set to take off on a road trip next week with his guy friends, driving down through various cities and towns across Germany on the autobahns. Most of the world’s serious drivers have it on their to-do list.

Imran tells us, “I will be travelling with my oldest friend, Sahil, whom I have known since I was four and Basti, who stays in Munich (Germany). We will hire a car and drive from Germany and maybe cross over to Austria.”

Last year, the actor had gone to Germany with his wife Avantika when she was expecting their daughter Imara. She won’t be accompanying him this time around. Says Imran, “I’ll be gone for 15 days. Avantika won’t be travelling with me, this time around as it’s a boys-only trip. We might rough it up a bit while travelling,” he laughs.

Won’t he miss Avantika and daughter Imaara? “Of course! I will miss them tremendously but my wife has her own plans with her girlfriends. My mom (Nuzhat) will be taking care of Imaara. This is not the first time that I am being separated from my daughter. The longest time I have been away from her is when she was 12 weeks old and I was in Ahmedabad for a month on an outdoor for Katti Batti. At the time, Avantika and I would FaceTime with Imara. This time, too, I shall be FaceTiming with Imara.”
