Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji
Insan has composed and sung all the six songs for his forthcoming film MSG 2 - The Messenger, which he has also directed. The first two tracks,
Party Dhoom Dham Se (which incidentally was shot over three nights) and
MSG The Messenger, are getting an encouraging response on social
media. What's interesting is that he has effortlessly modulated his
voice, depending on the genre of the song. Just like the song Daru Ko
Goli Maro has different combination of voices, another track, Chocolate, which is
essentially for kids, has Gurmeet Ram Rahim crooning it in a childlike
voice. The album also includes rock numbers like Thank You For That and
Love Charger with powerful raw vocals.
“I've never received any training in music,“ he says adding, “But what I want to draw everyone's attention to is that with the power of meditation, it is possible to be blessed with God's amazing grace. Meditation has helped me do everything with ease and if I can do it, so can anyone else.“
During the shoot, he would often entertain the audience with his songs as the shooting would go on till wee hours in the morning. The crew often wondered where he would get the energy from, after the long schedules .And he always answered, “God.“
MSG 2 - The Messenger, produced by Hakikat Entertainment, releases September 18.
