Enlarge ImageEnlarge ImageThe Mehra family went on a cruise with family friends in Dil Dhadakne Do. The Kapoors who did a cruise five years ago are all set for a repeat act this month. The matriarch of the family, Krishna Raj Kapoor along with her children Randhir, Rishi, Ritu (with her son Nikhil, daughter Nitasha and daughter-in-law Shweta Bachchan Nanda and their two children) Rima and their spouses, are booked on a cruise. Krishna’s youngest son Rajiv (Chimpu) and Randhir’s wife Babita are the only family members who will be missing this vacation.

Keen travellers
Enlarge ImageThe Kapoors go on their summer vacations but this time they are going post-monsoon, around August 15. Informs a source, “The two-week long cruise will be along the Mediterranean coast, with halts at Italy and Spain. The holiday, is being planned by Rima and Ritu, as the 86-year-old Krishna had expressed a desire to go on a cruise with her children. Ritu, who has not been on a holiday due to her illness over the last few years was also keen on this family holiday.

In 2010, Rima, Ritu and Randhir Kapoor along with Krishna had taken a cruise to Italy, Greece and Turkey along with Karan Johar’s mom Hiroo, and his friend Kaajal Anand and her mother. “This time, it’s just the family and Krishna is enthusiastic about this trip with her children. She’s been inspiring everyone to go and is the spirit behind everybody. It will be a gala Kapoor get-together aboard the cruise!”
