Sorry, we cannot stand each other, at least at present

For every estranged Bollywood couple that is willing to forgive and let live, there are an equal number of couples who've split up and cannot stand the sight of each other.
So, if you have classic examples of exes doing movies with one another like Ranbir Kapoor-Deepika Padukone or for that matter Ranveer Singh-Anushka Sharma, there are other couples who turn away from each other socially or professionally.
Take John Abraham and Bipasha Basu, who had a nine-year-long relationship that almost culminated in marriage. Post their split, not only do the two of them avoid common friends, they even time their entries in such a way to make sure they can avoid a confrontation of any sort.
Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor too have grown apart. Both are too well brought up to say anything derogatory about the other in print. However, the fact of the matter is that they prefer sticking to opposite sides of a room, if ever they find themselves in the unenviable situation of being at the same place at the same time.
An actor who got married recently also got a feel of how his exes felt about him, when all of them avoided turning up for his reception, though they did get last-minute invites to the wedding.
Of course, there's also a long list of senior actors too who avoid their exes because of the sheer awkwardness of their split. Or because their wives are tailing them faithfully keeping an eagle-eye watch. However, that's a long story, waiting to be told another day, at another time.
