Okay, it’s official! The cute, bubbly, slightly plump girl-next-door, Parineeti Chopra, is lost forever! In her place, we have a painfully thinner version of what used to be Parineeti. The actress’s drastic weight loss has become talk of the town and if you’ve seen some of her recent pics, you’ll know why. We had caught a glimpse of the slimmer Pari at the IIFA Rocks 2015 and she looked lovely. But just look at the pics she shared recently on her Insta account they are a bit worrying, given the fact that her natural fuller frame has suddenly been reduced to this skeletal frame.

And what is even more shocking is that the actress claims that she’s just half way through to her target and has much more weight to lose. In an interview earlier this year, Parineeti confessed that she had consulted a physician because she was putting on weight despite workouts and healthy food habits (egg whites and protein diets). She then found out that she was allergic to certain food items and now that she’s avoiding those foods completely, she’s started to lose weight. We hope Parineeti has taken a healthy approach to weight loss and doesn’t succumb to the cruel size zero stereotype image which heroines like Kareena Kapoor Khan and Anushka Sharma catered to, in the past.
