After a two-week hiatus, Kapil Sharma is back on Comedy Nights With Kapil this Sunday. Apparently, the two episodes aired on the last two Sundays saw a substantial fall in TRPs even as the comedian tours the US with his team. In an effort to bring glory back to the show, Kapil has been rushed back from the US to pick up lost threads.

Says a source, “The last two episodes when Arshad Warsi and Sajid Khan substituted for Kapil, never quite took off. Kapil has been summoned back for some urgent recording.”

Kapil landed back in Mumbai on Thursday night and immediately resumed shooting for the show.
