It’s great to see stars who once dated, either staying friends or working together — in films or otherwise. Akshay Kumar and Shilpa Shetty Kundra’s husband Raj are in business together. Or that Hrithik Roshan and Kareena Kapoor Khan are in talks for a film together. Shahid Kapoor and Kareena will be seen in Udta Punjab. Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone have completed Tamasha... And now Ajay Devgn and Raveena Tandon Thadani, join that list. After partying ways in the 90s, the duo is now keen on working together.

The two worked together in the 90s on several hit films. They were also great college buddies. It was Ajay’s then-girlfriend Karisma Kapoor, who had created a misunderstanding between them which blew Ajay-Raveena’s friendship apart.

Ask AJ today if he’s willing to work with his Dilwale (1994) co-star again, he says, “Of course! Why not? I would surely work with Raveena depending on the script. Today we are doing different kinds of roles and because of technology, we can play anything from 25 to 80 years. It just shows how versatile you can get.” Raveena adds, “We have all grown up together. I met Ajay again a few years ago, when he was a guest on my show, Issi Ka Naam Zindagi, and it was good to catch up again after many years. Whatever has happened is in the past. I never had problems even then. I was just a little hurt about the lies about me, that’s all. People move on…”

True that. Are John Abraham and Bipasha Basu listening?
