Taapsee admits that when she was offered the film, she didn't ask too many questions. "I was just so happy that Tigmanshu wanted to work with me since I've always wanted to work with him," she admits.
The film, a love story, is still being scripted. It will be shot in and around Mumbai for around a week. "Tigmanshu is currently wrapping up Yaara, post which he will work on the final draft of this film. It should be ready in another 10 days," reveals Taapsee.
Buzz is, Tigmanshu has also signed Taapsee for a full-length feature film. The actress refutes the rumour saying that from what she has been told, he hasn't locked any of his upcoming scripts yet.
When prodded about her co-star, she quipped, "The last I've heard, they were speaking to Amit Sadh."
The short will have a digital release and Taapsee is unperturbed, pointing out that the online medium has a commendable reach. "As I have a couple of full-length films on hand, it's the safest time for me to do a short film as well," she says. Alia Bhatt and Radhika Apte too have experimented with shorts like Going Home and Ahalya. "I really liked Sujoy Ghosh's Ahalya," Taapsee says. "It's creepy and quirky; in fact I was longing for more."
