Sanjana Singh, who gained popularity down South in films like Renigunta (2009) and Meaghamann (2014), and even bagged awards under the Best Supporting Actress category for the same, is all set to make her foray in Bollywood.

The actress will be seen doing an item song, Mera Pyaar Hai Maggi Jaisa, in Sachin Gupta's Thoda Luft Thoda Ishq, produced by Bharat Bansal where she will be seen sharing screen space with Rajpal Yadav.

She says, “On the last day of the song shoot, Rajpal Yadav and the entire crew clapped for me. And that was very encouraging. Rajpal's praise and motivation has stayed with me. I think that is what makes doing the dance number so memorable.“ The song has been choreographed by AJ.

When asked how she bagged the number in the first place, Sanjana reveals, “The director, Sachin Gupta had watched some of my Tamil films. I even showed him a few of my live show recordings with Dhanush from which he gauged that I am a good dancer too. That's how I bagged the item number.“

Sanjana is also working on another film, Face Of Truth. “The film takes up the issue of child suicide and I am glad to be a part of a film with such a powerful story,“ she concludes.
