Bollywood's fashionista, who keeps her fans updated about her red carpet appearances and on-set shenanigans with regular posts on social media, has now decided to go off Twitter and Instagram every once in a while.

Two weeks ago, Sonam Kapoor took off for a week-long vacation to Leh and Ladakh. Up in the mountains, she interacted with a few monks in a monastery and they inspired her to stay away from her iPhone, iPad and every other kind of technology. "She did not post any photographs of her trip. She had left her phone back in the hotel as she went backpacking. No one even knew she was away. She really enjoyed the experience and is now planning similar digital detox breaks," Sonam's spokesperson told Mirror.

The 29-year-old actress will be flying off to Cambodia in September for a Southeast Asia tour. "But she will not be carrying any technology along with her this time," the spokesperson adds.

We can already hear Sonam's six million Twitter followers and two million Instagrammers sigh out loud.
