Recently, at a shooting location in Mumbai, Radhika Apte and Ravi Kishan were enacting a Juliet versus Romeo scene for Bombairiya. Radhika was spotted standing on a bridge with Ravi making a passionate plea to her from a swan boat parked below.

Speaking about it, the actress says, “Ravi plays Karan Kapoor who is in love with my screen character Meghna. She doesn't wish to confront him. However, when her phone gets stolen she is forced to communicate with him in person. There was a bit of shouting involved but ironically it is a rather sweet scene. With the pressure of the day getting to her, she goes ballistic for a bit.“

Debutante filmmaker Pia Sukanya explains the psyche of her characters, “Both Meghna and Karan are at difficult phases in their lives. Meghna is battling the fear of exposure, while Karan is facing the possible end of his career. And he refuses to talk to anyone else but her about it. As the scene plays out, it seems comic on one level but has many layers that say a lot more. We've carefully crafted such scenes in the movie to enhance the bigger darker story that our main characters get dragged into.“
