Saumya Tandon, who is
currently seen in the show Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai, feels that there are
no options to explore so far as fiction shows are concerned on TV.
The actress, who is for the first time attempting comedy in Bhabi ji,
says she agreed to do this show only because the concept was refreshing.
She says, “On TV, you can only do a typical saas-bahu drama,
mythological or a historical show. All fiction shows eventually turn
towards kitchen politics, even if they start on a new, fresh note. I
didn't want to do any of them. My current show is bold in a way where
the wife is shown romancing her husband, something you don't get to see
otherwise.“
