Gossip mills are abuzz with news that Sunny Deol’s comeback film, Ghayal Once Again, has run into a hurdle. Sources say the project, which is being produced and directed by the actor himself, has been marred by financial issues and the last schedule has consequently been postponed.

A source says, “The project had been facing a lot of trouble from the word go and financial constraints have now added to the woes of the makers. They had made payment to certain vendors through cheques
which have also bounced. A major chunk of the film still has to be shot, but money issues have sent the schedule for a toss.”

Confirming the story, a vendor involved with the project says on the condition of anonymity: “So far, my bill has come to somewhere around Rs 18 lakh and a major part of it has been cleared. However, the cheque they issued for the last instalment of pay has bounced. A lot of other vendors are also awaiting their payment and until that is cleared, the project will not move ahead.”

The film’s spokesperson was not available for comment.
