Varun Dhawan, who’s now gearing up for ABCD 2, has three releases this year. Badlapur has already turned a hit outing, ABCD 2 releases this Friday and Dilwale is all set for a Christmas release. But the actor has already signed three more films — KJo’s Shudhhi, brother Rohit’s Dishoom and his dad David Dhawan’s next. While in a recent interview, David had jokingly said that Varun does not have time for his film, Varun clears the air. “Don’t say like that. How can I not have time for him? Dad and I will start our film next year for sure. I have the schedule to begin shooting.” Will it be on the lines of a Main Tera Hero? Varun nods, “Yes, it will be a typical David Dhawan comedy film.” While talking about films, he also mentions how he would love to be a part of a biopic. “I am not going to get into what biopics I have been offered. Everyone is playing pretty iconic characters. Biopics — real life stories do interest me. Doing a biopic on a character is a great responsibility. I don’t think I am yet ready for that. In fact, a biopic on a film-based personality — preferably an actor would be more exciting. There are lots of actors I want to play on screen. I would love to tell my father’s story on screen because it’s actually a rags to riches story. There is a man who comes from nowhere and makes a life. His journey should be celebrated.”
