TANU WEDS MANU RETURNS had an outstanding second weekend grossing around 28.25 crore nett. The drop for the first weekend is just 25% which is phenomenal. The film grossed 6.25 crore nett on Friday, 9.25 crore nett on Saturday and Sunday will come in at the 13 crore nett range.

The second weekend is the sixth biggest of all time after PK, DHOOM 3, 3 IDIOTS, KICK and YEH JAWAANI HAI DEEWANI. It has beaten films like CHENNAI EXPRESS, KRRISH 3 and HAPPY NEW YEAR

The film has also become the highest grossing film of 2015 after its second weekend with business of around 97.50 crore nett. The 100 crore nett mark will hit on Monday. The film is on a phenomenal run on North India while other parts are excellent. The only disappointment is the Gujarat/Saurashtra belt which is not performing as well as it should be.
