Rupali Ganguly, who was robbed of jewellery worth Rs 75 lakhs and Rs 6 lakhs cash, is relieved. The Mumbai cops managed to nab the fraud within 24 hours of her complaining. Says the actress, “The Crime branch and Versova police have done an amazing job. The officers made a sketch from what they could gather from the CCTV surveillance cameras and released it all over the city. And from that, they located a man who knew the woman who stole my stuff, and they traced her. The maid had by then sold off the jewellery, but I will get it all back.“

As reported yesterday by Bombay Times, a woman who claimed to be a maid from an agency had come to Rupali's apartment and managed to rob her of all her jewellery and cash.
