The actor is playing difficult with his show’s cast and crew, leaving them to shoot with a duplicate for the most part, say sources

Ram Kapoor, who’s juggling both films and his TV career is being tardy for his show Dil Ki Baatein Dil Hi Jaane’s shoots, say sources.

“He doesn’t value his co-actors’ time. Sometimes, even if he is on the sets he takes his own time to come and shoot. To his credit, he is a one-take actor, but half the time he does not shoot with his co-stars. He only shoots close-ups and for the rest of the scenes, his dupe is used,” informs the source.

Producer Dhaval Gada, though, denies it. “We are not using dupes as of now,” he says. Tell him that while watching the show, you get a feeling that Ram and his co-stars are not in the same frame together and that the shots have been canned separately and he reckons, “That must be because of the angle of the shot.”

Gurdeep Kohli who plays his wife in the serial, says that her timing doesn’t depend on her co-star. “I have given my time to the producers and I don’t shoot for 12 hours. It is for them to manage in such a way that both of us shoot together.”

Ram was unavailable for comment.
