(Crisp) Movie Review: TOMORROWLAND by FENIL SETA

Tomorrowland is an entertaining and fascinating drama that strives to give a fresh experience to the viewers. The first half is a complete winner – Frank Walker’s childhood portions take the cake. Casey’s episode too makes for a great watch. It’s not just the VFX – the writing does its magic as well. The conversations between Frank-Casey, Casey-Athena and Frank-Athena are quite hilarious and impressive. However, the last 30 minutes could have been better. The idea is nice but gets a bit far-fetched in the finale. Performance-wise, George Clooney is a natural as always. Britt Robertson has a great screen presence while Raffey Cassidy steals the show. VFX is mind-boggling, especially in the Eiffel Tower scene. All in all, it deserves a watch despite the glitches!
My rating - *** ½ out of 5!
