Mirror was the first to report that Salman Khan's Veer co-star, Zarine Khan, will be seen in the next instalment of the Hate Story franchise which is known for its high erotic quotient. Now, the superstar has managed to get yet another discovery of his, Daisy Shah, into the film.

Daisy, who debuted opposite the actor in Sohail Khan's ill-fated 2014 directorial Jai Ho, has been cast as one of the leading ladies of Hate Story 3, which also features Karan Singh Grover and Sharman Joshi.

Said a source close to the development, "Daisy's career didn't really hit the big league post Jai Ho. She was waiting for the right projects to come by but was offered only small roles, nothing that would dramatically enhance her career."

All it took Sallu was a couple of calls to sort out Daisy's quandary.

Added the source, "Around the same time, Bhushan (producer Bhushan Kumar) was looking for a parallel lead in Hate Story 3. He shares a great relationship with Salman and on his insistence, bounced off a narration to Daisy, who agreed to come onboard. This will be her second film after Jai Ho, that released over a year ago."
