Ek Paheli Leela is gearing up for a grand release and
producer Ahmed Khan is already prepping up for his next ventures. The
choreographer-director has already selected two scripts for his next two
films which he will direct. Says Ahmed, “I have got two subjects lined
up – one of which is with Tiger Shroff. It is something that one would
connect with very easily. The other is a commercial biopic — something
that I wanted to do for the longest time. You will be shocked to see
whose biopic we are making. I have few actors in mind for the biopic and
it would be one among Akshay, John, Varun or Hrithik who I will cast in
the film.”
Talking about his film with Tiger, Ahmed revealed that the movie will be youth oriented. “I always wanted to do a film for the youth and Tiger is very well connected with youth and kids. It is not finalised, as of now. But he and I have liked one script. He wants to do it. He is doing three films now, so we have to figure out when we can start that film.” When contacted, Tiger too confirmed the development. “Right now, we are working on a special music video directed by Ahmed. But Ahmed and I will definitely do that film. I am currently working on Baaghi with Sajid Nadiadwala and then I have Remo D’Souza’s next which is a superhero film called Turbanator. The film with Ahmed sir will start after that probably,” Tiger says.
Over the next few months, Tiger will be busy juggling between Baaghi and Turbanator. Meanwhile, Ahmed has decided to start his ambitious biopic instead. “We will go on floors sometime this year and it is one film that I am dying to make. We will sort things out soon and probably start the film sometime this year. That biopic would definitely be my next project,”Ahmed clarifies.
