Eight year old Akshat Singh who became an overnight sensation after he shared the stage with his favourite star, Salman Khan, on Jhalak Dikhla Jaa in 2014, now claims that he'll play 'Junior Pandey' in Dabangg 3. "But Bhai told me ki main Salman ki nahi, YouTube ki paidaish hoon. He teases me saying I'm his 'fattest' fan," laughs the youngster who started dancing to Salman's O o jaane jana and Jeene ke hai chaar din at the age of four and has been shaking a leg to his chartbusters ever since.

When he moved from Kolkata to Mumbai three years ago, little did he know that his first television appearance as Pandeyji on India's Got Talent would take him across seas and on The Ellen Degeneres Show. He made the American talk show host dance to Sallu's Dhinka chika and when Ellen asked him who Salman Khan was, he was aghast, "Aap bhai ko nahin jaanti?"

Akshat is presently rehearsing for the semi-finals of Asia's Got Talent Season 1, which will air in India for the first time on VH1 from April 18. "I am in standard 5 and they wanted my autograph," he exclaims, adding that the judges, Anggun, David Foster, Melanie C and Vanness Wu gave him a standing ovation after his performance in the first round of in Malaysia.
