After the debacle of Dibakar Banerjee's period espionage drama, Detective Byomkesh Bakshy, Sushant Singh Rajput is back to the present with an action thriller being produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. "Sushant was the first and last choice for the yet-untitled film. He signed it last month," reveals a source close to the development.

Meanwhile, the actor will be travelling to the US in June to train in Krav Maga to prepare for the role. The martial art, developed by the Israeli military, mixes judo, boxing, wrestling, aikido and counter-attack moves.

Last year, both Akshay Kumar and Taapsee Pannu trained in the form for their roles as undercover agents in Neeraj Pandey's Baby. Katrina Kaif also took a course in Cape Town for her high-octane action sequences in the upcoming Ranbir Kapoor starrer Jagga Jasoos.
