I went to see While We’re Young with zero expectations but came out thoroughly entertained and impressed. The film deals with two couples – one is kinda ‘anti social’ and in their 40s while the other is vibrant and non-conservative and what happens when these two couples meet. The film raises some important questions about righteousness, insecurity, ego issues etc and treats it quite well. The ending is quite tricky and could have backfired big time. But it works very well. The film is less than 100 minutes long and moves at a swift pace. Ben Stiller is fine and at places reminds of his splendid performance in The Secret Life Of Walter Mitty. Adam Driver steals the show with his unconventional body language and movements and performance. Amanda Seyfried and Naomi Watts too leave a huge mark. Sadly, the film is releasing in just PVR Cinemas I believe (it releases tomorrow only in PVR Phoenix in Mumbai). But go for it if you do get a chance…it’s a bit heartbreaking but largely satisfying flick!

My rating - **** out of 5!
