The latest trend in Bollywood is of actors turning producers. After Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and Priyanka Chopra, it’s Vivek Oberoi who is all set to venture into production. But what’s interesting is that the Bank Chor hero is keen to produce a biopic based on the life of a historical figure. He wants to bring forth the story of an unsung hero. In fact, Vivek has been doing a lot of research and reading historical accounts of India’s freedom fighters and revolutionaries as he is looking for a subject that will appeal to the audiences. The actor says, “It’s too soon to talk about it but I do enjoy biopics and feel that they are inspirational — I would love to support stories that are rooted in Indian history.” In the meantime, Vivek has read and locked few others scripts too and it won’t be long before he makes an official announcement turning producer with his home banner.
