While Rohit Shetty has managed to pull off a casting coup of sorts by getting the hugely popular pair Kajol and Shah Rukh Khan yet again, not too many people know that the director felt very awkward to approach the actress for the film. Rohit and Kajol’s husband Ajay Devgn go back a long way, so one would have thought it would be anything but awkward for him to work with her. However, Rohit has worked with Kajol as an assistant and to approach her for a film was a little strange for him. In an interview he was quoted saying, “I think it will be a little awkward on the first day but I am also excited because of the kind of character we have written. I told my writers to narrate the story to her while I was silent. When they finished, I spoke to her. I even told her I don’t know why I was feeling awkward doing the film with her as she was the last person about whom I should feel this way. But I added it was a dream come true.”
