Bollywood actress Madhoo who debuted in the super-hit Phool Aur Kaante (1991) opposite Ajay Devgn and who went on to become a star after Roja (1992), will soon make her television debut with a daily soap. She will be paired opposite Parmeet Sethi in the show, which is expected to go on floors next month.

Says a source, “Several Bollywood actresses were approached for the role, but the production house finalised Madhoo. The story line of the show spans three generations. Madhoo and Parmeet meet at a juncture when they are both contemplating suicide. But then, they fall in love and decide to give life another chance.“

Madhoo confirmed the news. The actress' last Bollywood outings were her aunt Hema Malini's production, Tell Me O Kkhuda (2011) and Love U...Mr . Kalakaar! (2011).
