His last international film, Danis Tanovic’s Tigers, premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival last year and the makers of Emraan Hashmi’s next, Mr X, are now toying with the idea of an international release.

Mr X is being touted as a state-of-the-art sci-fi film and an international release makes sense given the genre’s popularity. A source close to Emraan says, “The makers might release Mr X internationally. To facilitate that, Emraan will be seen dubbing for the film in English as well once the formalities are worked out. Currently, however, he is training for his next film, the Mohd Azharuddin biopic.”

Emraan confirms, “Yes, I will be dubbing for Mr X in English. But I can’t speak much about the release in detail as yet.”
