Emraan Hashmi, who, unlike his contemporaries, rarely appears in commercials, is said to have been approached to be the face of an energy drink — for a whopping Rs 4 crore.

A source says, “Emraan is quite selective about his brand deals, so you will not find him in too many ads on TV. He recently had a meeting with the officials of a leading energy drink manufacturer. They have offered him nearly Rs 4 crore to do a commercial for them.”

The actor endorsed a deodorant a couple of years ago in keeping with his ‘serial kisser’ image. Another source says, “Emraan has had an image makeover with the kind of films he has been doing of late. So, the brand thought that he would suit the ad for the energy drink. Till now, they have only discussed the concept and are awaiting Emraan’s nod.”

Emraan remained unavailable for comment.
