DUM LAGA KE HAISHA has emerged a hit as in its second weekend the film grossed more than the first weekend. The first weekend was around 6 crore nett while the second is 6.70 crore nett. The total business of the film in ten days is around 17.50 crore nett which is not a big total but from where it started it is huge.

The film is well settled and will hold very well over the weekdays and will gross around 30 crore nett in its lifetime run which is enough for it to be a hit. It is hard to judge the upper limit at present as it is the third week which will decide that.

The film has very strong contributions from the main circuits with Mumbai at around 5.75 crore nett, Delhi/UP at around 4.75 crore nett and East Punjab at around 2.30 crore nett. The other circuits to go over 1 crore nett are West Bengal and Mysore.

DUM LAGA KE HAISHA achieved a rare feat as it posted a second weekend than the first. This happens very rarely with possibly just 8-10 films managing this since 2000. The last film was Queen which coincidently was released in the same period last year.

The gains primarily came in Mumbai and Delhi/UP as both these circuits added 66 lakhs nett combined from the first weekend and that was roughly the difference between the first weekend and second weekend. A few circuits did drop with the notable ones being Nizam/Andhra and Tamil Nadu / Kerala
