Karan Singh Grover, who made his big-screen debut in the forgettable Alone opposite real-life girlfriend Bipasha Basu, will now play one of the leading men in Hate Story 3.

Mirror has learnt that the actor will beef up for the role as he features in extensive lovemaking scenes. The film, produced by Bhushan Kumar, will be helmed by Vishal Pandya, who also directed the second film in the Hate Story franchise.

Said the source, "The previous two films also had two male leads. In the first film it was Nikhil Dwivedi and Gulshan Devaiah while the second featured Jay Bhanushali and Sushant Singh. This time, it's going to be Karan Singh Grover and Sharman Joshi with Zarine Khan as the solo leading lady."

Sharman had previously told Mirror that the film has ample nudity and may require him to flash his butt. "The content is definitely much more risque this time and yes, the intimate scenes too will be a lot more revealing. So all the actors will need to shape up" the source added.
