Even as the Hindi remake of Drishyam gets set to take off in Goa in March, here's another interesting piece of news on the casting of this thriller. The very attractive Shriya Saran, who balances her career between South Indian cinema and Bollywood, has been signed to play Ajay Devgn's wife in the Nishikant Kamat film.

Producer Kumar Mangat said, “Yes, we are happy to have Shriya on board. She fits the role perfectly.'' One hears from sources that the remake that features Tabu as a super-cop will be shot through summer in Goa and Hyderabad.

On an aside, we hear that before Ajay flies to Goa to shoot with Shriya, the actor-filmmaker also plans to fly to Belgrade, and perhaps a bit later to Bulgaria, to scout locations for his directorial venture Shivaay, that is expected to go on floors this winter.
