If things go according to schedule, Sanjay Dutt is likely to be out of Yerawada jail around July-August this year. A reliable source says that the first film he is likely to start shooting for is Karan Malhotra's Shuddhi, in which he plays the antagonist to Salman Khan's protagonist. Karan Johar, who is producing it, is looking forward to the union.

During his last furlough, Dutt reportedly met his Agneepath director and it is said he even got a story narration from him.Malhotra has previously given Dutt the famous Kancha Cheena role in the revenge drama.

We hear, the director has an equally challenging role for him, this time around too. The source adds, “Shuddhi is about three characters - the hero (Salman), the heroine (has to be a young one) and the villain (Sanjay).“

Dutt and Malhotra are excited about teaming up again, especially since their first outing, Agneepath, still dominates public memory.
