Tevar director Amit Sharma also reveals that he wants to cast Sonakshi Sinha in all his films

Amit Sharma spent 106 days shooting his debut film, Tevar. But despite a good opening, it belied box-office expectations. "Maybe because of the cold and fog, viewers up North were under the weather. May be we should have followed the genre-related trends more closely after Action Jackson failed to make merry. But these results didn't sour any relationships. Boney Kapoor is like a father figure to me, Arjun and Sonakshi continue to be my family," asserts the young director.
Rumours were rife that Boney had scrapped his second project with Amit. He refutes this revealing that only two days ago, he spent the entire day with the producer discussing work.
"I'm scripting two films. One is with Arjun in the lead which should roll in August. I have given myself a six month-long deadline for it. And the other revolves around a 22-year-old," he reveals, adding, "It's exciting to work with Boneyji. If he doesn't like anything during the edits, he orders a re-shoot without bothering about the money." And how often did that happen during Tevar? "Never!" beams Amit.
Reportedly, Arjun was furious over Tevar's failure? But Amit says that when he was in Gulmarg recently for an ad film shoot, he fell and injured his knee. "When I returned, Arjun called to check up on me. He has invited me home to chill out together. We're thick as thieves," he insists.
And will Sonakshi pair up with Arjun again? "If I had my way, she'd be in all my films," he laughs.
