She surprised all by going to the Himalayas in search of a spiritual experience. But Bipasha Basu is now back to her usual haunts-- the sun soaked beaches of Goa.

Though the actress had enrolled for an 11-day course in meditation at Ananda Ashram, she has cut it short in favour of a raucous weekend in Goa. Keeping her company is steady date Karan Singh Grover, whose birthday was the reason for this trip.

India's 'Scream Queen' who was recently seen on screen with Karan in the horror flick, Alone, flew down from Rishikesh to Mumbai on February 21, and spent the next three days partying in Goa. "It was a planned surprise, organised by Bipasha for Karan's birthday," reveals a source.

She was supposed to fly from Mumbai to Goa with her friends but overslept and missed her flight. "However, she joined Karan before the clock struck 12," added the source.

The party continued through Monday and the actress kept her fans clued in, posting selfies with the birthday boy all day long.

Upon arriving in Goa on Sunday, Bipasha had posted a picture with fashion designer Rocky S, fitness expert Deanne Panday, model Candice Pinto and Karan with the caption, "Monkey Birthday Party Begins (sic)."

The posts which followed included a snapshot of her in a bikini top, captioned "Hot, Hot Hot Sun (sic)." There was also a selfie with the tattooed hunk: "Goaaaaaaa!!! Long drive!!! (sic)" and pictures of them snacking on desserts tagged "Sugar rush".

Another instagram image showed her arm-in-arm with her beau wishing him a life full of love, laughter, prosperity and happiness. "Wish angels surround you always," she wrote.

Talking of heavenly pursuits, though Bipasha has quit on her maun vrat and is back to the real world, she is continuing her mediation with friend Deanne who posted: "Listening to #Krishnadas & #Snatamkaur #bliss#sunset #atpeace (sic)."
