Bipasha Basu,
self-proclaimed Scream Queen, left the ghosts of her personal
and professional life this Valentine's Day and headed for the
Himalayas.
The actress has signed up for an 11-day programme at Anandashram, a “spiritual centre“ which promises “rejuvenation of the soul“. On her way to the snow-capped mountains, the 36-year old actress took to social media to announce, “Happiness is my only goal.“
And upon arrival at the ashram, on February 15, she posted, “At peace with nature: Mountains, greenery, fresh air, serenity (sic)“ And after the cryptic messages came the picture of a white-clad Bipasha, sporting a long string of rudraksh and it was clear that this was no ordinary vacation.
For the next few days, it is going to be just satsang, meditation and rigorous yoga sessions. The actress has been asked to give up communication with the outside world, which means that there will be no more tweets.
Her last words to B-town were, “The goal of life is to make your heartbeat match the beat of the universe, to match your nature with Nature's wise words (sic)...“
Does this newfound wisdom mean that Bipasha is bidding goodbye to the `horrex' genre? Like a wise man once said, only time will tell.
