In a surprising move, Riteish Deshmukh, who had earlier said that he has nothing more to offer to sex comedies post the grand success of Grand Masti, has agreed to do the next instalment of the film. Riteish had earlier said, “I enjoyed doing Grand Masti, but I don't think I can offer anything more as an actor in this genre. It was a bold film and I am glad the film worked.'' Director Indra Kumar confirmed that the actor has given a nod to Grand Masti 3. When asked how Riteish agreed to it since was not too keen to do another sex comedy, the filmmaker replied, “Riteish is convinced about it and we are happy with the development. Yeh hamare liye khushi ki baat hai.“
