Manasvi Mamgai (Miss India World 2010), who made her Bollywood debut last year with Action Jackson, has decided to drop her surname owing to numerology.

She reveals, “My mother is into numerology. I was told to either add an extra 'S' or replace 'I' with two 'E's in my first name - like Manassvi or Manasvee. I found it too complicated and silly. Alternatively, I could drop my surname. So I chose that. Whether I will go back to adding the surname later depends on how successful Manasvi turns out for me.“

The actress doesn't believe the move to be superstitious at all. She explains, “What's the harm in trying out these things as long as you are not going crazy about it!“
