Sixty kites in the Vegas sky

When Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor were shooting in Las Vegas for their upcoming musical, ABCD 2, director Remo D'Souza's decided to fly down the unit to the Grand Canyon to shoot the only romantic song in the dance drama. "You'd think it was a nice sunny day but it was freezing! Had I been in Varun or Shraddha's shoes, I'd never have been able to wear the clothes you see them in. It was minus 10 degrees," Remo laughs.

The director, who has also choreographed the number, has always had a fascination for kites and when he saw a solitary kite flying in the Vegas sky, he immediately wanted more. "We called for 60 kites and they add to the romance and intimacy that my lead pair naturally bring to the screen," he beams.
