If sources are to be believed, a few months back, Aamir Khan and Karan Johar were having several meetings. There was buzz that Aamir had apparently agreed to a film with KJo; a collaboration that hasn’t happened before.

A couple of times, the director-producer went to meet Mr Perfectionist in his office. But that was then. As of now, the latest buzz is that the forthcoming film has been canned. “Apparently, Karan offered a film to Aamir opposite Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and both of them were trying to work on the script, but things didn’t materialise,” reveals a well- placed source.

Karan Johar’s and Aamir Khan’s spokesperson didn’t reply to our messages.
