It's been a year since filmmaker Anurag Kashyap and his wife, actress Kalki Koechlin separated. Back then, they stated that they were “not divorcing“. They maintained that they were just “taking time off from each other to figure things out.“ However, buzz about the two proceeding with the divorce continues and there are murmurs that suggest that the divorce will come through shortly. Incidentally, at the music launch of her next film, Happy Ending, Kalki herself said, “I'm single“ during the course of her conversation with the host on stage.

While the couple themselves have been tight-lipped about personal questions, a source says, “Anurag and Kalki haven't yet filed for divorce. They continue to be good friends despite the separation.She's currently staying with a friend in Yari Road, Andheri West.“ Keen to find her own place soon, she reportedly posted on a social networking site that “Being white, single, a woman and working in Bollywood, it's not easy finding a flat to rent in Versova.“

During her upcoming film's promotions too, the actress maintains that she's good friends with her estranged husband. She has been quoted saying, “We still have something which nobody can take away from us - we still have creative understanding and a lot of respect for each other. Hopefully, we will work together some day.“
