Gone Girl is an outstanding film and boasts of an exciting and novel story. The non-linear narrative adds to the fun and drama. And it’s totally unpredictable and it’s extremely difficult to guess what’s going to happen next. However, it does have some cinematic liberties while climax was bit thanda. Every actor gives in his best and Ben Affleck steals the show. Rosamund Pike is an actor to watch out for and leaves a huge mark, especially in the second half. Carrie Coon (Ben’s twin sister), Kim Dickens (cop), Neil Patrick Harris and Tyler Perry too deliver some amazing performances. It’s great to see that the film is running successfully in India (our evening show on Thursday was almost sold out) and hope it continues to attract many more moviegoers. Don’t miss!
My rating - **** ½ out of 5!

The climax was not thanda. It was supposed to be chilling. It depicts the chilling finality of marriage. For better or for worse.
