For the last few days, flight operations at Chandigarh’s domestic
airport have been cancelled with thick layer of smog enveloping the
runway. This situation has led to chaos and passengers are rescheduling their flights. But, the singer-actor decided to avoid any mess and on Tuesday, took a
train to New Delhi where he was scheduled to promote his new song,
Mitti Di Khushboo.
The actor travelled by the Shatabdi Express which took him over three hours. Says Ayushmann, “All flights from Chandigarh to Delhi were cancelled due to bad weather, so I took the train as I had to be at an event for my song. It was after years that I travelled by rail. It made me nostalgic. When I was in school, I used to go to my maternal grandparents’ place in Delhi by train during the summer vacations.”
Was he worried about being recognised by fans? He says, “Not really, I was travelling in the executive class which mostly had foreigners and expatriates.”
